The Turkic Food Festival was a vibrant celebration of culture and cuisine, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds to enjoy traditional dishes, music, and crafts. The event showcased the rich heritage of the Turkic world and created an atmosphere of unity, friendship, and shared appreciation for cultural diversity.

18th Annual Dialogue and Friendship Dinner

What an amazing evening at the 18th Annual Dialogue and Friendship Dinner! Around 300 attendees from 52 different groups came together, celebrating unity, harmony, and friendship. The night was a true reflection of our shared values and commitment to building bridges across communities. We also took time to honor and pray for the passing of Fethullah Gulen, the opinion leader of the Hizmet movement, whose vision and teachings continue to inspire our work at the Dialogue Institute of Kansas City. His legacy will live on through our collective efforts toward peace and understanding.

Art Festival

Dialogue Institute Kansas City is thrilled and honored to have been a part of the KC ART festival this past weekend! With around 70 talented artists and hundreds of enthusiastic visitors, it was an incredible experience filled with creativity and fun. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Peace works for hosting us at this wonderful event. It’s through collaboration and community support that we can continue to promote dialogue, understanding, and peace in Kansas City.

Interfaith

People from the Dialogue Institute and 2nd Baptist Church Liberty came together over baklava and coffee last Sunday, sharing a beautiful afternoon of connection and community. The amazing hospitality and warmth created an atmosphere filled with peace, love, and harmony. Cooking Class!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our October Cooking Class! Together, we prepared beetroot , carrot , potato salad ,ground beef and cheese pide ,apple cookies Our incredible volunteers from the Dialogue Institute cooked live in front of our guests. During the class, guests not only watched but also had a chance to participate in making the dishes . To our wonderful guests, thank you for your time and energy .
